What is required?
| License: | Timebase Class 1 | 
| Connection: | A/D converter, such as a UCI Universal Chromatography Interface and an Agilent 6890 signal cable (Dionex part no. 8911.6890A) and an RS-232 null modem cable (Dionex part no. 8914.0103A). (For cable details, refer to  Connect the PC to the Modem part (RS-232C) on the gas chromatograph. For more information, refer to the Site Preparation and Installation Manual for the instrument. 
 Digital data acquisition is not supported when the GC is under RS-232 control. | 
| Hardware | An A/D converter is required for data acquisition. A UCI Universal Chromatography Interface, a Dionex UI20 (Dionex part no. 46017) or any other A/D converter supported by Chromeleon (e.g., PE Nelson Boxes) including the appropriate signal cables may be used. | 
| Software | Control via LAN if a J2552B LAN card is used: BootP server (included in the Chromeleon software) |
