 Note:
Headspace, SPME and ITEX mode are only available for the TriPlus RSH.
Restrictions for Headspace, SPME and GC Liquid sequences
When running an analysis using a TriPlus RSH sampler, the following condition must be met:
The GCCycleTime should exceed the total of the GC's program run time and equilibration time.
Sample Overlap (HS, SPME)
Overlapping sample preparation (see Autosampler
Control Overlapping Samples) is supported for headspace and SPME (Solid
Phase Microextraction) injections and can be viewed on the Control
Panel of the TriPlus RSH Autosampler.

For optimal use of the sampler's overlapping sample preparation, Chromeleon sequences should meet the following conditions:
Each run can contain only one program. If you want to use a different program, you must set up a new run.
Use consecutive injections with a different position number for each sample vial. Overlapping samples is not possible for multiple injections taken from the same sample vial.
Use the same injection volume for all
injections. It can be set in the sequence or in the Program Wizard
(see The Control Program The Program Wizard) of the TriPlus RSH (click "Launch
Editor" in the wizard) if the "Extract injection volume
from TriPlus RSH method" option is enabled in the Server
	 Configuration program.

Editor" in the wizard) if the "Extract injection volume

 Note:
 Note:
Successful overlapping also depends on a number of other factors, for example:
Analysis
	 Time settings (see General
	 (GC Headspace) and
 General
	 (GC Headspace) and Parameters
	 (SPME) in the Program Wizard).
 Parameters
	 (SPME) in the Program Wizard).
Overall length of preparations, such as number of washes, incubation time, etc.
The Chromeleon sequence is split into several runs if:
The Chromeleon sequence contains more than one program.
The sample position numbers do not differ from each other.
The injection volumes are different.
Injection Volumes
When specifying injection volumes in the sequence, use the following recommended settings to prevent injection volume rounding:
For HS (GC Headspace) and LS (GC Liquids) modes, set injection volumes to be a multiple of 0.1% of the syringe size. For example, if the syringe size is 2500 µl, set injection volumes to be a multiple of 2.5 µl.
For ITEX (In Tube Extraction) mode, set injection volumes to be a multiple of 1 µl.
 Note:
 Note:
If an injection volume specified in the sequence does not comply with the above recommended settings, it will be rounded to the nearest allowed value and a warning containing the details will be written to the audit trail.
