Modifying the Signal Parameters of a 3D Field
Modifying the Signal Parameters of a 3D Field
Modify one or several signal parameters of a Photodiode Array Detector to improve the size and the quality of a 3D Field:
| Signal | Description | Comment |
| Shows the current value of the bunch width. | Increasing the value improves the signal-to-noise ratio. However, the resolution decreases. | |
| MaxWavelength MinWavelength | Determines the upper/lower limit of the 3D field. | Use these parameters to limit the size of the 3D field to the essential section. |
| Changes the reference wavelength. | If necessary, increase the bandwidth to improve the Signal-to-Noise Ratio. | |
| Changes the reference bandwidth. | If necessary, increase the bandwidth to improve the signal-to-noise ratio. | |
| Retention | Indicates the current retention time. | The value cannot be modified. |
| Changes the step. | Select the step such that the narrowest peak contains approximately 20 datapoints |
