Using a Mix Method (ESA 542 Autosampler): Program Example
The ESA 542 Autosampler allows you to perform a mix method prior to injection. A mix method can consist of up to 15 dispense, mix and/or wait steps. Use the PGM wizard to configure the steps in a Program.
The example below is a typical PGM File using a mix method. It was created using an ESA 542 autosampler, Corona CAD and ESA pump.

Application Tips
The mix method is limited to 15 steps.
A mix method can only be performed with an “84+3 vial” tray.
It is possible to perform a mix method without a destination vial (using the sample vial).
In order to add more volume than the loop volume, more than one aspiration step is required.
In addition to the program example above, a
list of autosampler commands is also available (see ESA 542 Autosampler).
