 Connecting Third-Party Devices via GPIB
Some third-party devices communicate with Chromleon via GPIB (IEEE-488.2). This requires that a GPIB card or GPIB/USB adapter is installed in the Chromeleon Server PC. In addition, GPIB interface software and VISA library must be installed. Chromeleon supports the following GPIB interfaces:
| Manufacturer | GPIB Interface | Dionex Part No. |
| National Instruments | NI PCI GPIB card | 5919.0012 |
| National Instruments | NI PCI GPIB+ card | n/a (must be ordered from National Instruments) |
| Agilent | 82357B USB-GPIB adapter | 5919.0016 |
| Agilent | 82350B PCI-GPIB card | 5919.0022 |
 Note:
 Note:

The Waters BusLAC/ETM card cannot be used with Chromeleon.
The following devices use GPIB:
